Use FAQs from DM’s as ideas
Do you find yourself replying to questions and comments on YouTube or Instagram DM’s? That is a hint from your audience that you have content gap that needs to be filled. For Instagram, you may have saved replies set up, but here’s what you’re missing out on by not creating content on your blog…
- Drive traffic to your blog by quickly sending a link
- Create awareness that they can follow you on other channels
- Have Google Ads set up so you’re increasing chances of that income stream
- Increase chances of growing your email list w/the pop up
This is going to come in handy when you’re trying to snag bigger deals with businesses so you can increase at earning potential when you’re negotiating influencer campaign opportunities.
Teacher Lifestyle Content
The outfit pictures you’re posting on Instagram can be content for your blog, if written thoughtfully. Hopefully you’ve also set up LiketoKnow it and Amazon Affiliates (or something similar), so you can then link the outfits for people to purchase.
There’s a few different ways to do this…
- Create a weekly recap of teacher outfits of the week
- Think thematic: Favorite Fall Sweaters for Teaching
- Think thematic: My favorite Teaching Tees
- Classroom transformation outfits? Link everything!
For classroom transformations, think about packaging it up, the product, the organizational pieces, the Amazon purchases, and the outfit.
Provide Solutions Problems
As you’re looking at the different ways to stretching your content. I challenge you to spend a couple minutes this week scanning your classroom. Look at your classroom and the different things that you’re doing (have created, etc) that can potentially help teachers. Focus on providing solutions to problems that teachers are searching for.
Examples:
- The no-headache assignment turn-in system
- Classroom Management for 3rd grade classrooms
- Tools to teach Hybrid and Remote Simultaneously
Thinking about your Teachers Pay Teacher’s Products:
Look at your products on TPT and think about what particular problems those product solve for. Can you write about that topic of that product as a solution to a problem that a teacher is searching for. By doing this, you are positioning yourself as an expert on that particular topic. You’re also providing an in depth look at your product through a fresh lens, which can increase their chances to purchase.
Google Analytics and Google Search
Use Google Google analytics and the Google search bar to generate additional ideas for your blog. Below is a snapshot of my Analytics from one day.
It’s no surprise that my current most popular blog post all about books relevant to the month of March. This also tells me that my vocabulary blog post is getting a few hit I have products in my TPT store about teaching vocabulary so I should probably update those and make sure that those products have clear CTA. Consider expanding on a topic since one long very lengthy blog post is not ideal.
Google Search Bar:
Type in Google search bar or what you plan to write about and Google will give you other questions that people are searching for in relation to that topic. These are potential other topics that you can write about or ensure you answer in the post you’re planning to write.
