With the school year coming to a close, it’s natural that confusion will trickle into your mind as you second guess what to post for the Summer. Save this post for later because you’re going to walk away with tons of social media, blog, and other content ideas for TPT Sellers.

Remember the Teacher Mindset

One strategy that we discuss in depth in Teacher Marketing Academy, is the need to always remember your audience mindset, which is in this case the teacher. With a close understanding of the mindset, you’re conversations to these teachers will be more genuine and feel less salesy. You’re speaking directly to what they need at that time.

All that to say, what would you personally need in the month of June? Is it that big math bundle? No way! They don’t want to think about school! That’s close to the end of July and August. Here are Summer Content Ideas for TPT Sellers:

Teacher Professional Development Books & Beach Reads

Teachers have been reading kids literature for the entire school year! Share your favorite page turner or book to help them continue to hone in on their craft! My favorites are linked here

Experiment with what you now have time to create

Struggled to create video content during the school year? Now is your change to build up your video content library so that you have content to support your different resources as you inch closer to back to school.

Teachers don’t want to see teacher content all the time! Share what you’re up to as well as ideas that you do to wind down, unplug, and take care of you. That is an inspiration to us all.

Classroom Management and ‘Routine Style’ Content

Keep in mind that some teachers are not as veteran as you. They don’t yet have their routines down or their classroom management to the level that you do. Any idea can be beneficial to another teacher.

Kindness in the Classroom and SEL ideas

It never fails that kindness in the classroom and SEL is a hot topic during back to school. This is also an evergreen posting type that you can recycle later in the months, too.

Classroom Must Haves

What are the must have resources as a first year teacher? What about a math teacher? Do you think there are any must have resources that a veteran teacher might not have heard about yet? All of these are different posts, blog posts, and ways you can link to earn money! Remember to talk about these genuinely to not appear too salesy. We go in depth into this type of storytelling in Teacher Marketing Academy.

Technology How-Tos

Just like routines need to be revamped, there are many hurdles that technology can help overcome as long as long as they have the time…and Summer is the perfect time to learn! If it’s within your niche, create different tech tutorial guides that teachers can flock to now and during the school year when they’re in a pinch.
