This month is going to be packed with goodies, y’all!
As an upper elementary teacher, I terribly want to deck my classroom out in Christmas crafts but my school would immediately ask me to explain what TEKS (Texas standard) I was covering.

I created a Christmas Glyph that ties in multiplication AND division!
Students roll the die to be the factors for the multiplication sentence.
For the division page, students will roll and label the divisor and quotient.
Kids will color in the boxes at the top after they have represented the equation in either:
equal groups array, number line, and repeated addition/subtraction.
Kids will use the glyph description sheet to determine how to draw their gift.
Round, rectangle, stripes, polka dota, bow, and how many colors they use all depends on their answer on the representation sheet.
This will look so cute hanging out in the hall!
Kids draw two presents for multiplication and two presents for division.
This will make a fun math center!
