August 15, 2020 at 4:18 amDear Ms. Amber Calderon,
That video about Nearpod was amazing! I am a veteran teacher (20th year this school year), but I do not claim to know anything about Nearpod, believe me! However, I love all of the ways I will be able to use it to enhance my lessons. I just starting using Microsoft Teams last year as I now teach middle school instead of elementary school, and I am still learning about Microsoft Teams. I actually just found out about Nearpod this week when I went back to my building for pre-planning week (our students will start the year online). Of course I want them to have the best virtual learning experience ever. Nearpod seems to be a wonderful answer to all things virtual. So, I know that your experience was in elementary, but I teach 6th grade ELA which is not too much different from 5th grade in all essence of standards being taught. I may need to reach out to you for suggestions with some topics I will be covering this year. However, I plan to really study this Nearpod application and see what all I may be able to accomplish on my own. Thank you for having this channel, and I will definitely subscribe to it and ask my team to do the same.
Thank you again!
