Hello Friends!
I am so excited because this is my FIRST Monday made it and I’m so happy to share what I have been working on today!
Today, I am sharing how I made NO SEW classroom curtains!
This is the fabric that I purchased. I LOVE it!
Now for how I measured it, I recommend if you don’t have a big table to just sprawl out on your floor. You’ll appreciate this tip. You back won’t, but your curtains will 😉
Before we begin, yes that is my Erin Condren ruler from my planner 🙂
On the SHORT side of the fabric, I measured out THREE INCHES. I made small marks with a pen. Notice that I turned the fabric on the opposite side so it would’t show on the main side.
Then, I turned to the long side and this saved me SO MUCH TIME when it came to cutting. I measured out three inches on like the picture shows and made marks. This way when I’m cutting, I can follow my marks throughout the fabric.
I tried tape, following along with a ruler, but they all failed for me and this gave me the cleanest cut.

July 15, 2014 at 3:43 amI ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! I want to make some for something in my room…just not the window. I got busted by the fire marshal. I've got to do it somewhere. I've been begging my friend Erin from Short and Sassy Teacher to make me a fabric garland around some lights. The one she made is AWESOMENESS!!!
