TPT Seller Challenge: Makeover Madness

Hey
friends! I am so excited to finally share with y’all the first week of the #TPTSellerChallenge !
The
product below is near & dear to my heart. I created it before I even knew
what TPT was! I was a first year teacher that just wanted to create for my own
classroom. I made my classroom coupons in WORD and struggled for HOURS over the
formatting! I recently updated them to have cohesive fonts and graphics, and I
included a black and white version. Since I made it in word, I had to
completely re-make the file for PPT.
I
LOVE this product so much since I combine those class coupons with Class dojo
and a Classroom economy!

My
next product is another product that I created as a TPT newbie.

I
completely changed the clipart to be from one seller, I created a black and
white version, AND I created a response sheet so teachers can easily integrate
idioms into their classroom.

I am
constantly growing with TPT and my creations.
From
looking at these older files I can offer a few tidbits of advice:
Create
in PowerPoint….NEVER WORD
Provide
a Black/White version…it creates a more sellable item
Take
breaks when creating so you’re more refreshed to take the time time on your
work!

Both products are on SALE until the end of the week!
(June 15th)

Join us and grow your business! & Don’t forget to join the TPT seller Challenge FB group so we can discuss how we can help each other learn and grow!

If you would like to join in on the fun also, you can read the original challenge post {HERE}

Don’t forget to enter the Rafflecoptor!

Idioms are key and I LOVE the new clip art you included with them. ESL students especially tend to get lost because they are expected to know them and it seems few teachers review them. Well done 🙂

I agree- PowerPoint is SOOOO much more user-friendly than Word! I look at my first products created in Word and just shake my head! I love your makeovers- especially how you added the black and white version!

Using word shows how old the product was. The new covers look so much more eye catching! I would definitely click on them if I was searching through TPT. I love the background of the reward coupon revamp!

Love the look of your updated products. I am finding my style changing too so I want to change all my covers as well. Once you start it is addictive.

I appreciate your choice to include cohesive clipart within your product! My revisions included the same this week. It just makes the product so much more appealing both for buyers and for the students who have to look at it every day! 🙂 Thanks for organizing this group for us!

I know I'm behind the times, but I struggle with PowerPoint. Everyone always says how much more they love it, so there MUST be someone who has a great tutorial on how to create products in PowerPoint. Help!?!

I just linked up – finally! I love your updated covers. I agree with the idea of adding black and white versions of things. Even though I include full-color parts of my resources, I rarely ever print in color myself! Thanks so much for hosting this challenge! ~ Lisa

I use PowerPoint some, but really like Publisher. I love your coupons. I am not in a regular classroom anymore, but I use to do a mini-society (economy). It is so much fun. I have thought about taking some of my old stuff and revamping as products. Yours looks fabulous. It is such a great thing to offer to teachers. My students learned so much from it.
