TPT Seller Challenge: Dare to Dream

Hey
hey friends!

Today marks the SECOND week of our #TPTSellerChallenge! It is absolutely mind blowing how
strong our TPT has come together to make our stores great! I have seen some
amazing collaboration happening!

This week, our challenge is to blog about your dreams. What pushes you to basically work two jobs every day? Do you have any end goals for your TPT journey?
With that said our goal this week is to get you to BLOG!
If you want bloggers to see your work, you need to have enough ‘evergreen’ posts that drive teachers to your blog on a consistent basis. For example, since I teach at a 1:1 iPad school, I blog a lot about technology. These are not product driven posts, but rather just posts helping teachers learn more about technology.
Your challenge this week:
Write a blog post about your TPT dreams. DREAM BIG!
While you’re at it, write a non-product driven content post.
Something that is very helpful to teachers but you’re not trying to sell them anything.
This week we want you to KEEP BLOGGING! Write down all the possibilities and just work on them throughout the Summer!

Dreams:
Like most graduates, I graduated with a lovely amount of student loans that give me anxiety every time I think about it. I pay for them all by my lonesome and it has been easier with TPT helping me every month. I pray hard for that day I finally send ol Sallie Mae my last payment .
My second dream is very personal but I love my readers so I will share with you all.
I was not one of the lucky kids to rock the metal wires. I remember being very sad growing up because I knew had crooked teeth. Now, I’m 24 and I need to do something. Do I get braces at this old age or cut off my right arm and leg for some veneers?  Whatever I choose it will be a result of my hard work, not just TPT, but my teaching salary, and my sweet boyfriend that has offered to help me.
The day I get new/fixed teeth is the day I finally feel confident in with my smile.
I thank goodness for the wonderful friendships I’ve gathered throughout this TPT journey. I moved from Houston to tiny Waco, TX and my move has not been a walk in the park. I missed the big city and the ability to do fun activities that big cities offer. Throughout my blogging journey, I have been blessed with wonderful friendships and I hope to get to know more sweet bloggers! 🙂
These are my dreams and these would be my dreams whether I was a seller on TPT or not. I have a plan for these things in life and I am making it a goal to achieve them.
What are your goals? I can’t wait to read them! Right click and save the image below.
Paste it into an 8×8 PPT document so you can edit this square to share your dreams!
Fill out the Google Doc once and paste your blog post!
{HERE}
Don’t forget to enter in the Rafflecoptor!

We encourage you to blog about your dreams, if you do not have a blog, feel free to share your image on social media and on the “Dare to Dream” thread in our Facebook group!

You're going to laugh, but when I was in undergrad school, my dream was to graduate & move to Waco! 🙂 I have cousins in that area and was able to spend the night with them when we were visiting family. I had such a good time that I wanted to move there!

Love your dreams! I am also in the "educational loans" hole 😉 And surprisingly, I've got some teeth issues myself! grrrr.

What great and attainable dreams! You will definitely get there someday soon! I didn't know that you lived so closed…I'm just up near Fort Worth! I am blessed enough to sell on TpT full time while being home with my kiddos and there is nothing better than living a dream come true! You go this, girl!!!

I had to get braces in middle school, then my teeth shifted because I didn't wear my retainer like I should have. So, I got Invisalign in my last year of college. I'm just hoping I don't have to get my teeth straightened a third time! Don't worry – this is a battle for many and I'm sure you have the sweetest smile! 😊 thanks for sharing your dreams – it's always motivating to hear what others are inspired to work towards!

You have some great goals! I probably should have added student loans too, but I thought the others were more important to me as a new seller.

I love your goals! I remember how upset I was when I was younger with braces. Looking back, I am so thankful my parents made me get them. Having a confident smile is worth every penny! What a great idea to spend your TPT earnings on. You will get there. 🙂 I want babies, too- by the way!

Girl, I know EXACTLY how you feel about the teeth thing. My bottom ones are awful and I want Invisalign so bad but can't afford them. I think you are BEAUTIFUL regardless! 🙂

A new smile?!! You have a great smile! Why do you want a new smile? I get it though. We all have things about us we want fixed. And if TPT can pay for that for you, then you GO FOR IT!
I am a Texas blogger, too. I am in the DFW area though. Texas teachers rock!

I giggled when you mentioned tiny Waco. I grew up in Windthorst, TX, a town of about 500 people! Waco is HUGE compared to what I grew up in! My husband and I just recently moved to Fort Worth from Lubbock (the biggest town either of us had lived in up to that point) and are having a hard time adjusting to big city life!

I totally hear you about the needing to work on your teeth! I suffered through braces for 2 1/2 years as a teenager. Unfortunately the desired result did not stick around (not my fault 🙁 ) and so I've thought about what to do as an adult too. I've seriously considered Invisalign. Have you ever looked into that as a possibility?

Waco! I want to live there just to see Chip and Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper (I have an hgtv addiction!). But I totally relate with the student loan debt. I don't want to be paying till I'm 50 maybe TPT will help with that!

I would love to work for myself with TpT too and funny that you should mention fixing your teeth because even though I am a *few* years older than you, I have been thinking about it too. Thanks for all you are doing with this challenge!

I would imagine that WOULD be very difficult to move from a large city like Houston to a small town! I hope you are able to get your teeth straightened. Braces are not very fun, but definitely worth it in the end!!

I love your dreams! 🙂 I suffered with braces for 3 years when I was younger and now I'm dealing with a crazy, crooked row of bottom teeth that didn't want to stay straight. I just figured I'd live with it…but, with TpT, we get to do things we never really even dreamed of! 🙂 Good luck with your dreams!

Your post actually brought a little tear to my eye. I am in the same situation with the student loans and the crooked teeth! Both seem like such small things to other people, but they really have a big impact on my life. I vote for the braces by the way-I think if you can keep your natural teeth, you should! Good luck!

Every time I hear Waco I think of Fixer Upper! I am obsessed and would probably have to stalk Chip and Joanna if I lived close enough! 🙂 Loved reading your dreams. I hope you get to feel confident about your smile soon, thanks for sharing!
